Galvanized cylindrical and rectangular steel pipes are corrosion-resistant fabricated steel tubes coated via hot-dip or electro-galvanizing. Cylindrical pipes typically align with ASTM A53 for welded or seamless, seamless in sizes from 1/8″ up to NPS 26 for mechanical, pressure, water, gas, or steam systems . Rectangular (and square) pipes or tubing are cold-formed or welded, conforming to standards like ASTM A500, EN 10219, or GB/T 6728, in sizes ranging from 15×15 mm to 500×500 mm, with wall thicknesses from 0.5–20 mm.
